The B-Side Experience

The B-Side Experience is a free, public cultural and community event for Black and Brown men and their families. On the surface it is a day of barbering, games, conversation, music, and local commerce. Underneath, it is a culturally responsive community engagement and stabilization initiative that strengthens connection and mentorship, opens workforce and entrepreneurship pathways, supports local small businesses, and creates stigma-free space for wellness and accountability among men. Built on two West African principles: Sankofa (look back to our roots to build our future) and Ubuntu (I am because we are).
